Frank Nichols is a retired art professor having taught printmaking most of his career at Fort Hays State University, retiring in 1999 and granted the title “Professor Emeritus.”
Frank received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Emporia State University, his Master of Fine Arts Degree from Wichita State University, and 32 hours toward a doctorate in Art Education at the University of Kansas. He was an Instructor of Art at Chanute High School and Junior College before going to Fort Hays State University, where he was a Professor of Art for 32 years before his retirement in 1999.
Frank is a member of Who’s Who in American Art, Who’s Who in Society, Personalities of America, Who’s Who in International Art, Who’s Who in American Education, and was selected for: “Artists: A Kansas Collection”.
He is a Charter Member – High Plains Printmakers.
