SYMBOL SERIES

This series started out from experimenting with a monoprinting technique, then reworking over the images in mixed media layers to arrive at the finished compositions seen here.  The image parameters of size and use of the crossed bands have been fairly static but will change slightly depending upon the treatment of the base image on the paper, the background composition desired and/or the addition of text.
